Question about Mesmer
Alan was soooo good in this movie. Too handsome! I have something I need confirmed. There was a scene where Dr Mesmer was using his "special hands" to I guess try to cure that gal of her blindness. It was a very, very steamy scene in my opinion. This gal seems to be enjoying his treatment and then stops and says "no more" or something like that. Was is my imagination or did she have an orgasm? Then the Dr says "don't be ashamed" or something like that when comforting her. Anyone else see it? If that was the case, I'd be first in line to be treated by him! Actually, just looking at him and hearing his voice does it for me!

Umm, I think I know the scene you mean, and no I don't think she had an orgasm. The one I'm thinkin of is when he's touching her thighs in a pretty intimate way, and she suddenly blurts out 'no father!' b/c her dad is molesting her. Mesmer gets it right away, and he says 'don't be ashamed' or something, referring to the abuse. Pretty sure that's how it went anyway, natch.
