Ultimate Fighter
Have any of you been following the "Ultimate Fighter" season on Spike TV? The season finale will be aired this Saturday. It promises to have some great bouts.

I have been following it, and I have to agree, they should be some really good match-ups! The 205ers will be a good example of stand-up vs. ground game. Bader has good stand-up and Vinny is a world class jiu-jitsu compettitor.
The 155ers should either be a very long or very short match. My money is on a long match. Nover and Efrain are both very well rounded fighters. More importantly, they both are very mature people. It would have been very disappointing if Junie had made it to the finals.
I'm just disappointed that I won't get to see Nogueira and Mir fight. That will be a good fight as well.

I haven't followed it at all this year....so those names mean nothing to me..........I think the last year I was REALLY into it was when Shamrock and Ortiz were the coaches.

Ive been hit and miss with this season. Im confident Junie needs killing. Glad to see a local (Rollie) bring some positive recognition to the LR school. He showed poise, reserve, inner confindence, self control and other positive features when faced with adversity (Junie.) I wish he could have won a fight but he got a lot of great training that would not have been available to him on his own. I think the jui jitsu guy will win the deal. His stuff is as tight as any Ive seen.
Now the big question. Why will Mir and Noguiera not fight? I thought it was on for them. Did somebody get hurt or is Mir just scared?

What did you guys think of the finalle? I thought for sure that Vinny would get Bader. But that right hand of his hit him like a train....BAMM!!!!
Junie sure looked and acted like a completely different person. Hopfully its for real.
What did you guys think?
BTW.... What we do here is get a bunch of guys together on UFC night and each pay about $5 bucks or so, so that the cost is manageable.

Yeah, I thought Vinnie had the advantage goin in ,but that just goes to show anything can happen in a fight. I think Junie is a punk and it will take years of good behavior to reverse the initial image he portrayed. He does seem to have a good skill set though I will probably never root for him to win. He is beligerent while drinking and should never take another sip.
This is, of course, just my humble opinion. I do hate to see the fighters act like retards, it gives all assoicated with it a black eye.

On the replay, I seen that Bader's hand didn't even make good contact. But he did catch him in the temple.
I'm glad that Junie has cleaned up, but I hope that it lasts. He has a lot of talent.
