Choice of Weapons
Here is a question I would pose.....
If you were pitted in a life or death struggle ...you alone against...let's say ten unarmed but very tough and strong opponants....
NO HOLDS BARRED.....
What weapon or weapons would you choose
They are numbered so in your response just give the number....and explain your reasoning for choosing that particular weapon.
1. Katana & Tanto
2. 9mm semi auto pistol..16 shots
3. Bo Staff
4. Two daggers 5"double edged blade
5. Two Escrinma Sticks
6. One- Nunchuka One Spiked Fist 1" spikes
7. Two Tonfa
8. Two Sai
9. Twenty 4"Throwing Stars & one Tanto
10. Spiked Boots Two 1"spikes each boot toe
and a can of Pepper spray
There is NO correct or incorrect answer....
Let's just see who you are. Explain your answers IN DETAIL!
This should be an interesting little exercise.

1. Sharp cutting slicing thrusting weapons, long or medium range.
2. Powerful, 1 hit, 1 kill.
3. Long striking thrusting weapon, long range with adequet defense.
4. Cutting weapons, good for close range. Very versatile.
5. Striking, beating weapons. Can also be used for defense.
6. Powerful weapon combo. Good for beating your opponent and trapping hands. The spike hand would provide a good weapon too.
7. Good defense, beating/whacking weapon.
8. Adequet defense, good for poking your opponent at close to medium range.
9. Good for long range. Provides very limited defense.
10. Very powerful weapons in the boots, good to keep your opponents at bay. As well as the pepper spray.
Difficult choice, however, i'm gonna have to go with #2...Only for the fact that it is life and death, and I want the weapon with the best advantage. If it wastn't life or death though, I'd go with #6.

Riley says he would choose either the Sai's or the bo staff (numbers 8 and 3)because he is mostly trained with those particular weapons and knows more strikes, stabs, and slashes with those weapons.

I would like to have the knowledge to be aware of my surroundings and not have put myself in that position in the first place, and the courage to fight and defend myself. But......since that was not one of the options I would like to have as many of the weapons as possible.
Assuming I could get off ten shots to take down the ten opponents without any of them attacking me from behind in the process I would choose the 9mm. I have awesome aim and would be confident with a gun. And I know I could shoot better than I could throw throwing stars. I also choose #2 because I want to keep myself at as much of a distance from the attackers as possible.

i would use a 9mm pistol because if there were 10 people making a circle around you and thinking of stuff that is unamaginable things that they could or will do. and if you only have 16 bullets i would try to hit them in the head or the heart to make sure that they would not move for a long time and i would try to stay as far away from them as long as i can in that case scenerio

#1 is my choice...
A long edged weapon capable of easily slicing through a man or two.even having little experience with these weapons could get you out alive only having to use the katana. the tanto would if one guy was lucky enough to slip past the frenzy of slashing. it is also more intimidating than a gun or short ranged melee weapon suh as tonfa, sai, nunchuka or anything of the others besides possibly the escrima sticksmostly because they have the bludgening capabilities of a club but the technique required as a swordsman.

Good Stuff...
We can test this in class with the proper safety gear, and bb pistol, or air soft, padded weapons, and ten willing opponents.
Would be LOOOOOTS O' Fun!

#2 for me please. Strike fast hard and fatal. At least could whittle it down to a more manageable # of opponents before running out of ammo.
