Congrats to everyone!! You all did and excellent job. Now just imagine if we had put some more effort and time in on our practices. What an even more amazing demo we would have had!! Just something to think about for next time around guys!

If the Iron Mountain Demo was done with little preparation or practice, I'm impressed! Not due to the fact that the Demo Team didn't practice for such a important event that displays the school and it's students but rather that with such little practice our students are prepared to put on a demo without extensive practice indicating the proficiency of our students!
Apparently the ranking system, instruction, testing must be just where it's needed at today's needs just from the demonstration at Iron Mountain!
Again Congratulations to one and all. If anyone doughs the school's student's proficiencies, just go to the photo pages and check out the kicks and breaks!

I just turned in more $$$$ that came in late....It brought our total to $1,551.31.
Mrs Judy Vidall, who is chairperson of the Lawrence County Resource Council, again, expressed deep appreciation for what our students have accomplished over the last four years. She also sent a very nice "Thank You" note which was read aloud to the class, last Tuesday night (for those of you who have not been making class)

We worked for the March of Dimes during the years 1990-1998 and raised appx $18,000.00 for that period.
The total for our four years of working for the Food Bank is $5,700.00 give or take a few $$$.
Each one of those years we had a different group of faces...some were the same....and all with the same heart!

No...Those were very LEAN years....
The OLD school was struggling until we moved in 2000 and after that...the new one was trying to re-establish ...so we really didn't have the time, energy and especially the students to do anything like what we had been doing ...or are doing now.
