Thursday 10-01
Not alot of students tonight, is everybody still licking their wounds from Tuesday??! 
Mr. Weeks started us off with warm-ups and then we broke down into groups. Everything just seemed to hum like a well oiled machine tonight. I've been very impressed with our younger green belts - they've really stepped up to the plate and have embraced instructing.
Mr. Gaines worked with the new adult student, Toby, on first night basics and was able to touch on some blocks and stances. Toby proved to be a very good student and asked lots of questions.
Mr. J. Boggs worked with the younger new students, Jordan and Billy, also covering first night basics and the down and up blocks.
Mr. Burchfield worked with the new students who have a few classes under their belt. They worked real hard on all their basic blocks.
I worked with Keylan. We worked on some confidence building exercises, kiai's, basic blocks with a front thrust kick, and he learned the round and side kicks. With just a little confidence I believe Keylan will excel nicely.
Mr. Staal worked with the purple belts on jumping front thrust kick, Giecho Hyung IL Bu, and ATF 1.
Mr. A. Boggs worked with the yellow belts, Jett and Cooper on basics. These two young boys are really coming along nicely!
Mr. R. Weeks worked with the blue belts on stances and stance switching, forms, and the code of conduct.
We spent the last 15 minutes of class as a group working with Mr. Weeks on some cardio, jumping jacks, crunches, and push ups.
We had lots of groups working real hard tonight - always a good thing!

Sorry we missed, Katelyn is now fighting the flu bug, she missed school Thursday, and she made herself go today because she has so many tests to make up. Hope to see you guys on Monday night.
