A quality, neutral weapon the Flamemasher is also a loyal 5th quest weapon. Well worth the price, it stays with you even if you die, is magic-5, and can be used with a shield. Plus, it gives 25% fire resistance and deals ice damage.

(Save that cash or pool your resources. I have seen this much earned just picking up coins in places like the barren hills/storm mountain and the orc barracks ... well, pre-floor sweep days anyway  )
