Sainthood Quest
5/14/07 - Requested often over the years, I have now created a little quest, using message responses, that will give players the opportunity to earn 'Saint' alignment. I will be running the quest following cleanup on June 3rd (day after pvp day) until June 9th. To qualify to earn sainthood you must complete the quest, and meet the following basic criteria: Have -200 evil points (Max Good), Quested Neutral or Good, Warnings must be kept on, Have not been suspended or involved in breaking system rules. If you don't meet these criteria you may still participate in the quest as long as you engage in no pvp during the above week. Those that qualify earn 'Saint' alignment and are entered in a drawing for a gold jeweled ring. Those that dont qualify are given -50 evil points and are entered in a seperate drawing for a gold jeweled ring. Other details of the quest will be posted as the time draws near for the quest. I do plan on running the quest every few months to allow new people a chance to earn it.
Here is a little FYI, just some notes I have made to myself, which may or may not change as we get closer to the quest:
If quested Neutral, they can be switched back the neutral long enough to quest, then switched to Saint again.
If they lose Sainthood accidently, they will not get it back as Warnings are required to be on at all times. The exception is if they are attacked by a neutral/good person. In which case they may retalliate for a limited time (based on how often the opposition is on line).
If they do lose it, they can regain it when the next quest is held.

I suggest that there should be a Fiendhood quest immediately following the Sainthood quest. The goal of which should be to kill as many of the new Saints as possible. First to reach Fiend wins.
