One big carp!
Hello all. Went fishing with my son and Hubby , and Hubby catches this carp that measured 67cm long! Haven't seen one that big in a long time! Thought I'd share this photo! Ang

nice fish, you eat them? never do over this way but did try carp roll mops once.... huge murray cod have been caught locally in recent times

No, none of my family eats them. I don't particularly like the meat, too soft and mushy. I don't mind redfin, the others like trout. I'm more of a sea fisherperson myself!

I believe you David! I'm not into eating freshwater fish, but I don't mind the redfin, if it's grilled and salted. Yum. I don't mind eel either, but prefer to eat eel from the Gelibrand River, past Apollo Bay. Those ones make very good eating, and are huge!
