One big friendly spider!
Hellooooo guys! Thought you might like to view these photos, of Garry pulling off old web and cat fur from this huntsman spider. He found it tired and lethagic on our front entrance floor and felt sorry for it, deciding to rescue it as he normally does with all creepy crawlies. By the time he pulled off all the fluff and muck off the spider, it was quite friendly and playful afterwards. He let it go on our silver birch tree trunk, far away from my vegie patch as requested by me! I stood about 15 feet away watching the whole operation, naturally from a safe distance. It's probably the only thing I don't share with my husband is his infinity with spiders!
Go figure!
Angela

Re: One big friendly spider!
Well what can i say , Gary must have a big heart.
I use a big glass and cardboard. They cant see the glass abd i trap them, then place the cardboard under the glass then out side they go.
The misses wont sleep if there is one in the house And in summer they run bloody fast.
