Melbourne Aquarium Dive?

Image
Gidday guys, a couple of shark photos from my shark dive! Loved this dive! Sharks came in very close, at one point when I first jumped into the water, a grey nurse came right at me, then altered direction not two feet from me, meanwhile a six gill glided past behind me! Loved the whole experience. But, no coins buried in the sand!!! One guy in our group found a shark tooth!

Hey Ang,

Once again good stuff :bean:

Both king A and myself have found nurse shark teeth in our scoops and apparently the cliffs around black rock are a great place to look for prehistoric meggamunchyabum emoticon shark teeth, I dont know the name of the shark but the one that made jaws look like a guppie and teeth the size of your whole hand.
Would be cool to take some rope gear down and hunt around the cliffs.

Sounds like a plan Finders! i didn't know that about old shark teeth around Black Rock. Interestng. I like fossils. I've got a beautiful example of sea lilly stems (cronoidal limestome fossils) here that i found on the dirt road into Coopers Creek (Gippsland). What most people don't know is that there's an interesting creek not too far away, down a gully that contains black marble with fossils in it.
