Re: Eye Surgery
Gidday all! I'm back and all went very well with the surgery. I almost have 20/20 vision, which should improve as the cornea settles down from any swelling. The first thing I could see straight after the operation was Garry's shoes laces! I couldn't believe it! I have to take it easy over the next 2 weeks, no swimming, dusty environments, so metal detecting is out of the question as I always get dusty and dirty went I go hunting! So far, i don't need reading glasses as we all thought I might initially. But later down the track, I may, due to changes with ageing. so, just thought some of you might be interested in how it all went. Best part of it all, I got a copy of the eye operations! I watched it yesterday after getting back from Melbourne and thought WOW, amazing what they can do for people. So interesting. I can't go diving for 4 weeks, and have one more appointment then to check that everything is okay.
It's amazing...on typing this, I can see to read and type without contacts and glasses....I'm in awe!
Good to see most of you are out and about detecting and finding great treasues too!
Angela this is me with sunnies on...got ta wear 'em!
