Yippee...got my new Excalibur 2!
I got home from work a couple of nights ago and there it was...sitting on my recliner....my new Excalibur 2. Hubby decided to surprise me with it...an early anniversary present! He also picked up a spare alkaline battery case and a couple of books wriiten by Clive James Clynick on Avanced Methods for Finding Gold in the Water, etc. He's taken one to work with him to read on his brew time.
So....next week we're off for a day's detecting at the beach so I can try it out.

Congrads , What year is a metal detector , i have just past leather anniversary present.. 
Well done Angela , I hope you get gold your first time out .... Nice looking rig too , you could Write a MINI (personal ) view on how good it is , I might be looking at one next year .....

Gidday Andrew, we kinda don't follow tradition on aniversary presents! Good thing too eh, as I don't think a metal detector falls into the 'list'!
