Summer's around the corner..almost!
Hey guys, can you feel the warmer weather coming? I do, can't wait for the end of year holidays. Any of you going away, planning for a detecting holiday...let us know what's happening!

Well i dusted off the MD and wne to the local beach , got about 13.00 and some bobby pins , going to the gold coast this weekend , got about 12 hour to swing so ,should do ok

Hi Veg, Know just how you feel, I had a hip replacement in February and a knee replacement in August, the knee job is far worse than the hip. I have not been able to detect this year, worse still the detector will pickup the metal in the knee joint if I knee down to retrieve a target, I saw the physio yesterday and don't go back until October 15th. like you ....FRUSTRATED !!!

Glad to hear that the hip operation is better than the knee, I go in for my first one on the 6-10 and the 2nd one about 3months after that. Hate reading about other people getting out and i can't.LOL...I want to try water detecting, Hope they don't go rusty, have to get them to put an oil pipe in so i can oil them

Hi Hungry, All the best, ask them for a copy of the Xray they take after the Op, the hip joint is massive, I had no idea of the size.
I am sure you will find the short inconvenience is well worth it for the results.

I didn't know they took an X-Ray when they put it in, Thanks for that, I'll ask them for a copy to put in with all the others, The X-Ray mob even gave me a bag to carry them all in,LOL. I look like the Hunchback of Notre Dam getting around, Half a step -drag, Half a step drag. LOL
