park finds
hi found this batch in my local playground along with lots
of junk.mostly decimal coins and one penny (1951).can
anyone tell me how to clean these they were found under
woodchip and are pretty dirty.any ideas please.

Hi uncle6000,welcome to the forum,good to see new people join.
To your question, lemon juice and salt will bring them up like new,if you havn't a lemon tree growing in your back yard vinigar and salt will also do the trick. make sure you rinse them out in soapy water afterwards.

Hello uncle6000, you might also give WD40 a go on some of your coins. I found that the old coins found on goldfields come up really good. It acts as a lubricant too, so protects the coins. Just wipe dry when finished.
