Hello to all, Just found out about this forum from Neilo. Thanks mate.
It's good to find an Aussie forum, and not be over run by the Yanks.
I started detecting 4 years ago with a Sovereign Elite. I traded that in on an Explorer SE 2 years ago, and bought an E-Trac 1 month ago.
I have found $8044-05c since starting this addiction, and $392 in the last month with the E-Trac. It certainly gets you outdoors.
Since starting detecting, i have developed a visual problem, i keep seeing this S shaped vision with a couple of lines running through it, Do other people get this? Bob

Welcome to the forum Bob! Looking forward to reading your future posts. The members here are a great bunch of folk. May as well tell you, I'm the only girl here so far  , not that I mind in the least! :D
You've certainly raked in the coins! I've spent most of mine! Kept the relics and jewelry though :escher:
The detectors I used are Minelab Excalibur 1000, Minelab Quattro MP, Minelab Explorer 2 and an old White's Goldmaster. I've got a gold machine, an SD2200, but don't use it much. i'm heading out tommorrow for a day's detecting on old goldfields. Can't wait!
