Re: Intro Posts......
Hello Sumpster, great you've joined us just the same. The Soveriegn is a great machine, a few of my friends use them for beach hunting and do realy well with it. I've also seen them used for detecting competitions. Check out the albums under the website to view some of the stuff members have found in Australia, it might interest you also.

Re: Intro Posts......
Ah thanks for the reply angela i have seen some of your finds and photos and found them very interesting. I am trying to get a trip to the coast within the next month or so to do some detecting on the beaches and i will make take some photos of my finds (hopefully there will be some) and attempt to put them on this site. All the best to everyone regards Supmster.

Re: Intro Posts......
Hi Sumpster, Welcome to the site, I had an old model Sovereign and found it to be a great machine my only regret I found it a bit on the heavy side, you certainly can't beat them for beach work. Look forward to your posts.
Regards, Brian

Re: Intro Posts......
Gidday Niggle and welcome! I'm down in the lower end of Southern Victoria. But it sounds like you're in for some interesting hunting in those areas, rich with gold mining history. Hope you find someone to detect with! Always nice to get out with a friend!

Re: Intro Posts......
Thanks Angela...
this looks like a pretty active site - I'll look around and see if there are any Riverena-Area prospectors around ...
