Hi All
Hi all,
I'm form the southern suburbs of Adelaide (Coromandel Valley) and been detecting for a couple of years on and off.
Lashed out bought myself an E-trac recently and I'm loving it....interest renewed. I mainly hunt pre-decimal coins on historic/old sites.
Stumbled in to Neilo on other forums and he has given me a lot of advice and invited me here. So happy to be on board and look forward to reading and contributing to the forum.
Regards,
Greg

Welcome Clyde to the forum! I also hunt with the Minelab Ecalibur 1000, and love it! How do you hunt...snorkle detect, scuba, wading?

Intro - Mike100
Hi everyone, Just a short note to introduce myself. My name is Mike and I live in Werribee Victoria.
I've been detecting for a number of years but haven't had much time to do it over the past couple. I'm hoping to get back into it now. My weapon of choice is a minelab soveriegn gt, armed with a lesckie digging tool.
I enjoy detecting in parks and at the beach (and campsites when we go 4x4 driving). I need to hone my targeting/pinpointing skills. How good are the probes and are they worth buying? Any advice welcomed.
I've never detected with another detectorist and would like to sometime. Anyone from around my way?? I think we can always learn from each other.
Looking forward to sharing some stories,
Cheers, Mike

Re: Intro Posts......
Hello Mike,
Nice intro! I'm from Gippsland way. I reckon it would be great to meet a few on the forum somewhere for a day's detecting. It'd be fun. In the meatime, some of the fellas here might be interested in detecting with you! Also looking forward to your stories!
