Not sure if first attempt worked so I'll try again.
I have not bought a MD as yet and would like to hear any comments re:- Minelab Explorer SE v Whites MXT or any similar priced units suitable for coin/jewelry hunting and occasional gold forays (approx 2hrs away)
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!

great to have you onboard. I've never tried my explorer on the goldfields and haven't heard of anyone else having much luck using one in that situation either, it is really a coin/relic machine. I think the MXT is also but Raoul would be the man to speak to about that.
