Metal Detector Competitions
Went to the AMDC in WA October 2007, the Jan-Feb 2008 issue of AGG&T was a reminder of that event.
There was fun, drama and entertainment.
For interested persons. A link to more pics.

On the way back to Cairns I visited my Au. home city of Glenelg, it was nice to touch the sand of an often visited home beach again.
There was a few days of low tide, I think most persons on this forum know what type of irresistible calling card that is.
I was weak, could not resist.
Thanks for looking

Re: Metal Detector Competitions
Hi Ivan, Did you chase the yellow stuff while you were in W.A., I spend a lot of time over there in the winter, great atmosphere. Regards, Brian.

Re: Metal Detector Competitions
This time round I had a different purpose for the trip, but I did spend a day chasing around.
A great atmosphere? I tend to look at it as different, make that very different.
My preference is "Sandys" gold and gem areas.
