I am new here also.Where abouts in Geelong are ya?
I am from Altona, but we have a cabin at Swan Bay near Queenscliff. Spent a few days checking out a few beaches in you neck of the woods over christmass.
Picked up a nice s/silver bracelet, a few charms and heaps of coin. Even picked up an old penny from the sand on Queenscliff beach. It was deep in a hole and well crusted over, been there some time.
Also picked up an old pocket knife from point lonsdale. I thought it was a rock it was that crusted over. The blade was rusted away but the timber and brass were all there and what i think might be ivory on the handle. :clap:
