Coin Valuation Books
Just a thought, to value old coins that I've found metal detecting, I use these two publications:
'Coins of England & The United Kingdom" by Spink
and
"Renniks Australian Coin & Banknote Values" by Eddie J Cummings

Re: Coin Valuation Books
I've got the Greg Mcdonald guide (2009).
Have you seen this one? If so, how does it compare to the Renniks?
Cheers

Re: Coin Valuation Books
Hello Greg,
I haven't seen the Greg Mcdonald guide. I'll keep an eye out for it. Where might I find a copy?

Re: Coin Valuation Books
I got mine from Dymocks, if you get a chance to have a look, let me know what you think compared to the one you have.
Pocket Guide to Australian Coins and Banknotes (2009 - 16th ED)
ISBN: 978-0-9751244-9-9
I'll have to look up that UK coin guide.
Cheers,
Greg

Re: Coin Valuation Books
Thanks Greg,
I know we have a Collins Book Store here, but I'm sure there was a Dymocks not far from here to I'm looking forward to checking it out. Yes, I'll let you know how I think it compares to the other.

Re: Coin Valuation Books
I picked up a copy of 'Coins of England & The United Kingdom" by Spink.
Highly recommend this book, excellent.
Got it sent from the UK for $45 through ebay, costs $70-$80 in Aus.
