tarpon 120 - SOLD 16/3/05

I have a brand new Tarpon 120 for sale. I only got in early JAN 2005 and its only been used twice.
The tarpon is a great kyak to fish from, and you can find plenty of reviews on the net to attest to this.

The Tarpon costs a grand, but I'm selling mine for $800

The reason i am seling the kayak, is that it is a unwanted b-day present...Im into spearfishing and I need a kayak desingned for diving out of.

I live in Stanwell Park NSW.

If you have any questions drop me a line at walkerfilms@hotmail.com

spoonfed, The tarpon is a good ride...but I'm after a kayak that is more suited to spearfishing out of, and I also want to be able to go surfing on it when the swell is to big to go diving

Re: tarpon 120

fair enough.

The Scrambler XT would fit the bill nicely methinks, so would the cobra.

Have a look at the QK Escapade while you're at it, tonnes of deckspace.

If good surf performace is important then look for a kayak with rocker, which the Scrambler has.

I would have thought the Debu would be a pretty handy kayak for spearfishing. Lots of flat deck space, easy to clamber on and off, space for a tank at the back - and a box in the front for all the gear - and the fish. I am told it surfs pretty well too - although I have not tried this out on my one.
