Re: Wavedance Kayaks
Thanks Milt,
I see what you mean with the back hatch being difficult to access on the water. I'm still taking my time getting it set up and now have the fishing gear about right. I have found it really easy to paddle on waters around the Lane Cove and Parramatta Rivers, and have surprised myself with my fitness actually. I agree that in more testing conditions it might be different, but I look forward to getting amongst it anyway.

Re: Wavedance Kayaks
Hey Occy,
What did the wavedance cost you just out of interest? I was lucky enought to find my 2 yak in the trading post for a sweet deal of $700 for the 2!!!
The wavedance I initially bought for the mrs and that hatch will come in handy when spearfishing this summer as storage for speargun etc. One thing I didn't like about the back hatch is if you put something small it often ended up in the front of the yak. I ended up jamming some foam in the gaps under the seat to avoid this. Send me a pic once you have completed decking it out for fishing so as to give me a few ideas. Or better still post a pic on the site under rigged kayaks.
