Lure Care

I am finding that the hooks on my lures are stll rusting even though I rinse them and give them a spray of WD40. Any secrets on keeping the hooks sound?

Re: Lure Care

Good topic Nick ! The only hooks on my lures that don't rust are the plated ones so I'd be keen to find out how to protect the rest of them.

Re: Lure Care

I've got a mate who works for Abu Garcia and he gave me a product to try.Its a little lastic tube that actually has an anode in it.The ones he gave me are two piece to ese with a two treble lure.one piece goes on one treble and then you pull the other end out on an elastic and hook it onto the other treble.I've been using them since january and they seem to be keeping th rust at bay and help keep the lures neater in the tackle box. I should be able to find out what they're called if you want.
