Re: Soft Plastics?
Hi Guys,
I had had no luck with SP's but after reading Bent's recommendations & technique I gave the Berkley Tournament Minnows try on a recent weekend I spent with my partner around at beautiful Marion Bay.
Had a morning session (no, not THAT kind !) down at the Stenhouse Bay jetty & those SP's just got hammered by Snook, Flathead & the occasional Slimey Mackerel.
Give 'em a go... I'm sure they'll work for you too.

Re: Soft Plastics?
Probably the easiest rig i have ever used is this.
Normal set up of a paternoster but instead of using a sinker at the bottom throw a lead head jig with whatever plastic you like, i have found the black mr twister is great.
Then on the dropper above throw a unwieghted plastic on or bait up the hook with a bit of squid.
The bottom lure acts as the sinker , drift across sandy bottoms and the lure bounces along nicely and the bait above looks ok too. You may find that only bigger flathead hit this setup(thats what i've found).
Those eco gear lures are hot for Bream especially those little squidy tentacle ones.
A mate of mine sells them in Tas have a look at the page.
