Re: PFD Equipment
On/in my PFD i have trusty pocket knife and forceps on a lanyard that attaches to the front or slips in the pocket on the front. also have pocket in the back of the PFD for water bladder. but will look at whistle and mirror. In a previous life dealt with aircrew LPY's and they had...lots in pockets and some good ideas too. Sea marker dye, whistle, 5mtrs of 45kg nylon, heliograph mirror etc. but will look atmine and see what i need for estaurie or if i go off shore..

Re: PFD Equipment
Hi all
I have a UltraTrek PFD Type 2 and on it I have attached a Benchmade 100SH20 knife, a radio, a whistle and my mobile phone.
I have found this to be the best PFD for my fishing needs. I always take the radio with me, just in case.
Cheers
Simon

Re: PFD Equipment
Phil
Thanks for the advice re PFDs. After further searching around I've acquired a Perception Tempo PFD2 from Second Wind, located above Jurkiewicz at 47 Newcastle St, Fyshwick. There appears to be some connection between the two stores but SW has a greater range of kayaks & accessories.
Cheers
