The "Milkcrate".

I never thought that I would become a "Milkcrate" convert however things have changed.

This is the final version and find it works very well for me mounted on the back of the Prowler.

Looks good Phil.

I need to get a bit more organised so I might use yours as a guide for my Scupper.

Gerard.

Nice job Phil. I used a milk crate on my FnD but found it allowed me to carry more stuff than I actually needed so these days I try to avoid them.

Hi Gerard,

The tankwell on the Scupper is a bit smaller than the crate but all you need to do is make up some feet & fit them to the bottom of the crate so the crate will sit up on the edges of the tankwell rather than in it.

I luv it Phil ...I'll want two or three on my Prowler just like the yanks....but don't tell Billybob.

I was talking to him yesterday and he was very scathing about milkcrates.

I think the Perception guys may have a thing about their graceful lines...whereas we yanktankers know what is needed to match our brute strength, don't we. (Ducking for cover now.......) emoticon

Re: The "Milkcrate".

Hey Perception people,

I have a more full figured craft. One with a rollcage. She's big on bulk, low on propulsion and has a mind of her own. That's my Scrambler and I'd trade her in a second.

Sorry Perceptioners, your anorexic designs don't do it for me, but I definately need a slimmer model who goes off in a sexy lookin' crate.

While I'm saving for an OK Prowler with a sturdy yankwell, you all keep flippin' those hatches.

(I'm really gonna cop it now!!!)('emoticon');

Cheers,
Dan

I have nothing against the milkcrate. They're great for carrying milk.

Spot on Billy.... heheheeee

Anyway Dan, we Swingers can fit a milk crate too. Not a normal fat one but a lithe, cut-down one that better matches the graceful lines of the kayak emoticon

Phil,
The trick is to get one that is the same colour as your kayak. emoticon
