Hiring Canoes
Anyone know where in Sydney I could hire a canoe for the weekend (looking at either a Swing or an Outback). Was hoping to have a decent trial of one before i take the plunge.
Thanks
Caine

Re: Hiring Canoes
Hi Caine,
If you go to Perception Australia's website at www.perceptionkayaking.com then click on 'dealers', then the map of N.S.W. you'll see a list of dealers in N.S.W. Listed at the top are Test Centres at which you should be able to get your hands on a Swing for a test paddle and hopefully be able to hire one for a weekend.
Hope this helps.

Re: Hiring Canoes
Hi Caine,
There is 'Blue Earth Canoes' at Drummoyne, 'The star boatshed' at Woronora and 'Bundeena Kayaks' at Bundeena on the Port Hacking River.
'Blue Earth' would be the best bet to hire a swing as the other 2 mainly have canoes and sit in yaks.
Hope this helps,

Buj
