Online price guide?
Is there a decent, accurate, online price guide for vintage superhero toys and collectibles? The internet seems perfect for this sort of thing, yet I can never seem to find one. I have a bunch of old toys that I've been going through and would like to get at least a rough idea of what it's worth.

The only answer to that is
'It's worth what some sucker will pay for it'.
For example, A Husky Batmobile from a dealer would cost about $50.00 but they change hands through evilbay at around $20.00 or less, a Kenner BTAS Batmobile on the other hand I can pick up for $1.89 but I sold one recently for $60.00.
I've been going through my stuff for an insurance valuation and so I have been listing each item as whatever the highest replacement price is. I've been using Google to search for each item and where possible, taking the price from proper auction houses.

About the ONLY place to check for prices these days is eBay.
Look in "completed sales/ highest bid".
Price Guides, at least in book form, have sort of become worthless since now evilbay controls the world. I've been in the collectibles biz specializing in toys for about 20 years & we used to always say, "It's worth $20, in the book". Now, if you say that, you sound like a moron because eBay has TOTALLY taken over. Everything ( Toy Shows, Flea Markets, Estate Sales, Garage Sales, Thrift Stores, ...everything ) has become totally corrupted to the point where it's impossible to be a dealer anymore, at least make a living at it....kinda sad really.

For my own information I am keeping a record of each item with three columns of prices.
I have ended up with a list like for second hand cars,where you have a trade value,a high milage worn out value and a mint condition low mileage value.
So a WB Joker maquette is worth.
GBP
£16.00(what I paid)
£45.00(average ebay price)
£135.00(WB store price)
