Um, they are 8mm films, ha ha. Just kiddin'. I think there are about 15 of them in a complete set. They're 8mm versions of the 1940's serials. These 8mm boxed versions came out in the mid-60's & are kinda hard to find, especially the later numbers.
I love the vintage artwork on them, nice graphics!
If I were you I would try to find an 8mm projector at a garage sale, they're common. You can watch these on the wall & it's actually pretty fun.

It’s been awhile since I’ve last posted but I am glad to say that I’m back.
This past year I moved, began a new teaching position, applied to graduate school and am just now finally getting settled into my new home. My apologies to all who have had to see my broken links all these months—these too have been updated.
Part of getting settled involved displaying my Batman collection properly! I hope you enjoy the pics.
 
- Autographs from Adam West, Burt Ward and the late Frank Gorshin
- Vintage English poster for the 1966, 20th Century Fox film
 
- Assortment of 60’s items—Ideal Captain Action Batman, Ideal Batcave, Ideal Bat-helmet, Colgate soakies, and TV Guide
- The framed picture to the left of the TV Gide is of my brother and me with the Dynamic Duo taken at a New Orleans shopping mall sometime during the early 80’s
 
- Assortment of MEGO items
 
- Three of my favorite Batmobiles
- One more assortment—two Aurora model kits, a complete set of Pepsi Super Series tumblers, Gorgis, AHI vehicles...etc.

Thanks for the compliment—I’m glad you enjoyed the pics!
Being able to display my collection is half the fun. A major consideration when I purchase an item is how the item displays alone and with the collection as a whole.
Believe me—I understand that having ample room to display one’s collectibles can be rare. With more of a vintage focus to my collection, it grows much slower now than when I would go on toy runs, order collectables from my LCS…etc.
My collection is not that big anymore, thanks in part to Katrina, but I’ve come to appreciate quality over quantity...

The display looks great & you have some really nice stuff. Thank you for taking the time to post them, I appreciate that.
About that "family photo" of you with Batman. Can you please send me a larger pic of that to post at the Bat-Blog?
Also, if you have these all these pics in a larger format that would be great. This would make an awesome post since you have such cool stuff & it's displayed so well, people like to see that kinda thing.
