Show your 60's stuff

I really dont have much as far as collectables when it comes to the 60's, Its really not my main interest. I also have the reissue set of cards along with 15 of the original cards from the 60's set in addition to these items. I do have the autographs for West, Ward, and Gorshin. I met them at a show in Pittsburgh years ago. I also have Eli Wallach as Mr. Freeze, but i acquired that off another collector. Most of my 60's merchandise is in the comics. I have a big run of Silver Age.

Wow! I remember almost all of that stuff. I still have the Life magazine and I had forgotten all about the fruit drink container with the cutout mask.

I sure wish I had my card sets from back then (dumb kid). I remember the Batman milk caps that they used to have on bottles of milk (back then you got milk (in glass bottles), eggs, butter & stuff delivered on your doorstep. God I miss those days.

Nice stuff! Unfortunately most of the oldest Batman stuff in my collection is comics, I do have the soundtrack record from the tv show, but I'm not sure how old it is.

I have a ton of Vintage Batman Toys from the 60's because that is my favorite era. Unfortunely I don't have a way to take a photo right now so I'm gonna use the few pix I have on my PC now.

The Large Plush Doll & Jelly Jar Labels are Super-RARE & ©1966. The ceramic coffee cup is from the UK & the keychain is from Holland, both from the 60's too. I have a few different "Holland" keychains but can't get to them right now.

"Bat car"...LOL!!!!! That "doll" reminded me of a plush Batman window cling that I used to have not too long ago. Unfirtunately my wife "washed" it and it is no more.

Some great bits and pieces there. I have a few 1960s items myself but not anywhere near what I'm sure you guys must have. Great to see a collection and images of nice condition items like that. I have the LIFE and quite a few magazines from the period too as well as DC Comics too. I hope to see more of what you guys have. Good stuff.

You know, it's funny, on newer collectables, I like things to be mint, or very fine condition. On the older 60's stuff, I find that afew minor chip marks or imperfections adds to the appeal of those items.

Wierd,I also like my my stuff to be either 'mint in box' or 'played with'.
Unfortunately that usually means broken and bits missng when you see a listing on Evilbay.

I really like that plush Batman,I will have to find one of those.
