It looks remarkably like the water gun, but it's not. I have the water gun also. They are both made by Durham Industries, but this thing has a battery terminal and what looks like a speaker.(?)

I would assume that it is the microphone from a Batman radio.
There are loads of themed radios from that company and I saw a Bugs Bunny one that had a carrot as a mike but I couldnt find that specific one.

The speaker item is a bike horn. They appear on ebay fairly frequently.

Oh yeah, and welcome to the BAT-BLOG Message Board. Hope to see ya around here more often.

I'll have to check out eBay for one of those bike horns, it's pretty cool.

Hmmm...cool. Now that you mention it that does sound familiar. I bought this about 20 years ago. Thanks.

Cool. Never seen it in the package.

Here are a couple more 1960s items from my collection. This mask has Bats on one side and Robin on the other:

And this is one of my favorite Batman toys. The Pix-a-go-go. I only have the one card, but you slide it through and there is a very primative animation that occurs:

Wow, the Pix-a-Go Go item is pretty cool & quite RARE, thanks for posting that! The masks are cool too. Those masks were a premium with General Electric. I bought a set along time ago & lost them. I liked them so much I bought another set on eBay...ha ha.
