I FINALLY found one at Wal Mart, they had just put out one of those big 4 sided modules. There were actually 4, but there was a dealer there grabbing about 20 or so different cars. He got the other Batmobiles before I could pick any more up. Ill still be on the look out for anyone who hasnt managed to get one yet.

I finally had a friend send me one about a week ago, have yet to see one in the stores. It's a pretty cool item, but my friend said that when he took his out of the package, his kid got a hold of it, and doing nothing but handling it, rubbed the red striping off in no time!

I just found one in Redwood City, CA for $3.00! There is this crazy store on Broadway (in Redwood City) that has TONS of Hot Wheels and other toys. I didn't see it on the racks, but I asked the proprietor who went to the back and brought it out for me. I don't really "collect Batman" anymore, but this toy is pretty sweet. I love the '66 Batmobile.
There was this dork in there who told the owner he should have charged me more, "They're goin' for $25 on eBay." I told them both I would never have paid that much. I'm sure this guy felt lucky to make the sale to me.

I just picked up two of these from 2 different tescos here in the UK. They are the same car but have different sized backing cards.
They are here fellas, get looking for them!

Hey DaBats,
Is the card shorter but with the same basic graphics? They call those the "short card". You usually find those in Grocery Stores. Congrats on finding one...they are beautiful!

Thats the one batblog, i found one short and one of the longer ones. And you are right about them being beautiful.

Finally got one at my local Tesco for 87 pence.
I had to wait for them to restock twice before the Batmobile appeared today.
They are now only 99 pence on ebay.

I found another at Woolworths yesterday 99 pence and then found one at Tesco for 76 pence.
I now have one open, one in original packaging and one I will detail.
