Any "new" news on Mattel's BATTLEAGUE figures??

I've been really excited about these figures because they look so cool & there's a ton of Batman-related characters but there's really not been any news lately. The 1st reports were saying they were gonna be released in 2007 & now it's November....getting nervous, did they cancel them?

I'll have to research this for a blog post.
emoticon If anybody has heard anything please let me know, thanks.

havent heard anything. havent even seen anything new since the few dc superfriends that hit shelves acouple months back. maybe all the trouble with recalls has screwed mattel up more than they already were.

Corgi and DC Direct also seem to be holding back on stuff that was due out now.

Perhaps they are waiting to ride the wave when the new movie comes out?

Don't know. We havent even had any new information on the toy lines over at LoG.

My personal opinion is that giving Mattel the license was a total mistake. They have really killed the Batmans presence in the toy aisles.

I think Mattel could have done "ok" with the toy line but, like somebody said, with the recent recall problems....I don't know.

I'm starting to think it was a mistake too. Let's just hope they get their act together.
