Heroes Museum, Indianapolis

Hey, I was wondering if anyone here has been to The Heroes Museum in Indianapolis?
My family and I stopped there this summer while on vacation. It's a small museum, but has a lot of love in a small space, particularly for Batman and Superman.

Here are just a few images that I thought I would share....

Image
A little blurry. Sorry. - Burt Ward's Costume.

Image

Image
  Catwoman - Meeeeow!

Image
  An original Bob Kane Sketch!

It's a cool place to check out!

If you want more info check out www.heroesmuseum.com

On a side note - With all of the autographs pictured here from The Heroes Museum, I thought I would post one of my personal autographs.....
I'm happy to say that I finally met Yvonne two years ago, and got her autograph for my own collection :

Yeah, I thought about reducing the size of this image.... but what's the fun in that?? emoticon

I've never heard of that museum before. Thanks for sharing this.

Also, the photos are great!! The next time I am up that way I'll have to visit that place.

Here in Oklahoma ( where I live ) is a small town that has a TOY & ACTION FIGURE Museum. It's in a place called Pauls Valley which is about an hour from where I live. I plan on going there in the future & when I do I'll post some pix.

My friend told me they have a special "Batman Area" that will make me go GOO-GOO crazy!

Thanks for posting this information - I too had Never

heard of this museum. I have a couple of questions

though- I thought Burt's green shirt / trunks were one

piece; otherwise every time that Robin did one of his

special moves wouldn't the shirt ride up ??? I seem to

remember a photo of Burt practicing a move and it

looked like it was all one piece. Also where is the Boy

Wonder's mask, belt, & shoes ???

I'm sure there were many different versions of the Robin costume, and this is just one of many.
Maybe there was a costume for the series and a different one for the movie. I'm not sure.
Not sure what happened to the missing mask, belt, and shoes. I guess I should have asked, but I didn't think about it at the time.

That's a good question. Welcome aboard.

This description was for an auction in 2004 and the picture is of a genuine costume worn by an unconvincing model.

"original costumes from this landmark show, each one worn by the original actors. The Batman costume is complete with the cowl, cape, bodysuit, trunks, boots, gloves and the ever-important utility belt, while the Robin outfit comes with mask, cape, tights, green shirt, trunks, vest, belt, gloves and boots. Both outfits are in great shape, and would be the crown jewel of any Bat-collection."
