Hi, batblog.

Yep, **** Sprang is one of my favorite Bat-artists, hence the name. I grew up in the era of Neal Adams, and he was hard to beat, but the reprints of those Sprang stories always blew me away. Giant props, that wonderful batmobile with the dorsal fin, Batman's lantern jaw...great stuff.

The image was pieced together from a panel in an old World's Finest and the back cover of the classic "Batman from the 30s to the 70s" hardcover.

Been checking in here for a while now, and figured I'd make it official by joining up. You may know me from the '66 Message Boards as "Stately_Wayne."

I promise to try and keep out of trouble.

Ha! Apparently it's impossible to make Mr. Sprang's name appear on this board!

Must be moderated by the ghost of Bob Kane!
