Drawn to Batman

I have always liked the live action stuff better than the animated stuff (which is ironic because I'm an illustrator). I'm going to check more of it out since my cravings for Batstuff are only increasing. I never had cable for the animated series so I'll have to check that out.

BBD, you OWE it to yourself to track down the Animated Series on dvd. As a Batman fan, there's no way you can't love it. I still say it's the best animated series of all time.

BBD, you missed the entire run of Batman: The Animated Series?? OMG! You have to go rent them. Maybe not all in one night but just start w/ Season One.

Please trust me, you're gonna LOVE them! The art direction is all Art Deco & everything looks kinda modern & film noir all at the same time. The voices, animation quality, music, sound e/fx, etc...are all TOP NOTCH! The stories are very very well written. That's one of the things I liked alot about that show was that they were "safe for kids" but intellegent for adults....You are in for a BIG TREAT my friend, you're gonna love them!

absolutely. What was already said.

Many Batfans consider TAS to be the ideal version of Batman. I would recommend purchasing the box sets. The bonus features included on them are very interesting and fun. Well worth the money.

Yeah, I was just checking out the sets at Amazon. I'm definitely planning on getting them as soon as I can afford it. I wish there was someplace around here that would do DVD trades!!!! I'd sacrifice my other DVDs for Batman stuff for sure.

Okay, I've gona and done it. I went to Circuit City and bought vol.1 of the animated series. Haven't had the chance to check it out yet because I was out fighting crime all night. Okay, I wasn't fighting crime but I was out all night. I'm hoping to catch a few episodes when I wake up. If my eyes weren't getting blurry I'd go for it right now...lol.
