Re: BATMAN: The ANIMATED SERIES Tribute Thread
the Mark Hamill joker is probably always going to be the first thing I see in my head when someone mentions the joker. I grew up with this series, came home from school and had to watch the show through the static (didn't have cable, just an antenna) the bad days were when it didn't show up at all. Now I have all the DVD collections (except the newer episodes on the fourth box set) and they still hold up and are just fantastic. I don't think they will ever be topped. Also, the movies are pretty good. Before Batman Begins, I thought that Mask of the Phantasm was the best Batman movie out there.

Re: BATMAN: The ANIMATED SERIES Tribute Thread
Batman: The Animated Series is, in my view, a real benchmark of a television series. And it had such a wonderful cast, particularly Kevin Conroy and (my favourite) Efrem Zimbalist Jr. I would also lump The New Batman Adventures in as well, because it introduced other characters, and even had Carrie Kelley (The Dark Knight Returns)along as Robin.

Re: BATMAN: The ANIMATED SERIES Tribute Thread
I finished watching the complete series all the way through yesterday. "Girls Nite Out" was interesting and odd. It would have been cool to see Batgirl The Animated Series and Supergirl The Animated Series!

Re: BATMAN: The ANIMATED SERIES Tribute Thread
BATMAN: The ANIMATED SERIES...I loved it. Still do. The dvds are on my master wish list.
It really washed the Tim Burton movies poo-taste out of my mouth.

Re: BATMAN: The ANIMATED SERIES Tribute Thread
I grew up on that show and i still love it to death!!! I really want them to make a new Batman movie with the main villian being Clayface. He was one of my favorites on the show.
