Okay, I picked up the first two issues and I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes. I like it so far but I'm not wild about the character renditions. Characters should have a basic similarity to established renditions. Also, I HATE when artists are too lazy or unskilled to draw Batman's mask right. The rounded off front (like on the cover of #2) is just ugly, stupid, and annoying. Also, in #1 Bruce Wayne talks about not having put on the costume for a year but it doesn't explain why!

I've been hearing alot of negative stuff about this comic but have been hearing some really great things about The Spirit / Batman. Alot of people were kinda skeptical about that book because Will Eisner is the ONLY person to do justice to The Spirit. He created The Spirit & is also a comic book legend. Sadly, he died recently. The comic book industry named their "oscar" the "Eisner Award"...that's how great he is.
Has anyone read this book?
I love The Spirit from the 1940's, great stuff!!

Im skipping this title. I read looked it over at the shop and wasnt impressed at all with it. Guess Im down to just the 2 core titles a month.
