Saw some cool stuff in Indianapolis!
Hey there!
I took my kids to The Children's Museum in Indianapolis the other day. There was an exhibit on comic book heroes that was really pretty huge!
I thought I would share some pix of particular Bat-Interest with you.....
Here is a Batman display which featured Bat-Toys, autographs, and in the center - one of Adam West's original capes from the T.V. series......
Right next to that was a really cool replica of a section of the Batcave which housed a hero Tumbler, one of eight made for Batman Begins, that has to be seen to be believe.
There was a person on site who knew everything about the car and shared many details on it.
He said this was the one that was seen tearing through the streets of Chicago on lcation, the one built for high speed shots and not one of the stunt versions.
He also said that it is run by a high performance Chevrolet Engine.
I guess Batman likes American muscle!
The exhibit runs through May 9th 2009, if you are in the area!

Oh man, to see the original Tumbler Batmobile must have been extremely exciting, that's cool!! The toy display is pretty cool too. Thanks for posting the awesome pix!!
Is the show still going on? I'll have to research it for a possible story at the main Bat-Blog page. Thanks for the heads-up!

I missed the opening for that exhibit by a few days. I think it's up for a while though. My in-laws live there so maybe I'll get another chance.
