The Dark Knight more than lives up to the hype!
Hey all ~
We saw The Dark Knight at a midnight show last Thursday. Amazing! I think it is the best film of the year, by far. There has been a great deal of talk (rightly so) about an Oscar for Heath Ledger's unforgettable performance as the Joker. The Dark Knight should win the Oscar for Best Picture! Some look upon comic book inspired movies as kid's stuff or fluff. TDK could not be farther from that stereotype.
I'm definitely gonna be in the audience watching TDK again!

Where is everyone?
I posted my comments in the Dark Night movie news section. I'm kind of surprised how quiet this forum is right now, considering the movie just opened. I am curious what everyone else thinks.

I saw it today! Was released here yesterday and wow! I knew I would, but I loved it!
Interestingly and I dont know why but there were no trailers before and I was sat there, feeling very sick and hung over if I'm honest, wasn't in any mood to sit in a cinema for two and a half hours but I'd endure anything! It was The Dark Knight and I'd been looking forward to it for soooooooooo long!
I went to the first and earliest showing I could, I just couldn't wait and ironically it was the only showing that wasn't already sold out!
This film really didn't dissapoint though did it? I've heard a few people say they still preffered Batman Begins, but even so, as sequels go this one was amazing!
I'm trying not to say too much as I know there are still so many people who've not yet seen it, but I cant wait to discuss it!
