Re: 1st time in 22 yrs...
When I was a kid after I was already living in two houses at the same time my dad and I would pray the rosary together. Back then, granted, I'm at fault for not paying attention at things I should have but that's one of the times of childhood I wouldn't mind going back to. Back then it didn't mean much to me but it does now. Just like remembering to say grace before meals, not out of some ritualistic habit but because we realize God blessed us with what we have. There was a time I mocked it all and called it 'vain repetitions' like you'll hear in the anti-Catholic sector but I see it different now. Vain really is the keyword in that and Jesus himself taught us the Our Father, He didn't say it would be a vain repetition if we prayed it.
