I cannot see . . .
My 5 year old and I have been having a struggle at Mass recently. Today, I again told her to kneel and again she told me "I am too small. If I kneel, I cannot see." I finally whispered to her, "It's okay if you cannot see, God can see you."
I later thought about all of those who would question the Eucharist. They claim all they see is bread and wine. I realized that it matters little what we see, God can see us. When He says "This is my Body." or "This is my Blood.", it matters not what we see. What matters is that we believe and God sees us and knows us.
