 WELCOME TO PENGUIN PARABLES.
As Jesus walked this earth, He taught in parables. He told these simple stories so that the simplest minds could understand the vast truths of spiritual life.
I am a simple mind. Jesus fills my life with parables which make sure that I understand the truth about spiritual life.
Why penguins? Penguins are just so-o-o me. They waddle. They do not soar with the grace and beauty of eagles. They waddle -- they cannot even begin to fly. They are not wonderful diving birds -- they hop to get in the water. So, what did God do with these absolutely silly birds He created? He dressed them in tuxedos. Why? To remind each of us that when we get to feeling really important we really are ridiculous as we can of ourselves do nothing except perhaps waddle and hop. Yet, like the penguins, God loves us and gives us life.
So, in this little corner of the universe, I will share with you some of the parables which God brings alive in my life. Please, laugh -- I do. Please feel free to respond and share your thoughts. In this manner, perhaps we will come to understand all that God is teaching in the simplicity of human life.
May God bless all of us, penguins and penguin wannabes!
