Byzantines in New Orleans

Please note that St. Nicholas of Myra parish in New Orleans remains closed after Hurricane Katrina. I have just learned that Divine Liturgy is being offered at St. Mary's Chapel, 1516 Jackson Ave. at the corner of Prytania St., every Sunday morning at 11 a.m.

Many church parishes in New Orleans were devastated by Hurricane Katrina and remain closed.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the only Eastern Catholic Liturgy being offered in the state of Louisiana.
