Occult trends in children’s literature
this is long, just putting the link for now; Occult trends in children’s literature
If it ever ends up off line I have it at Rehoboth too. Sorry, this totally fits in with my own alarms about why Harry Potter isn't seen as a bit more of something that needs to be avoided. I know what interested me in the occult. Harry Potter wasn't around back then but similar shows, moreso movies really made me want to try things myself.
Under the name of Wicca, witches don't sound so scary. It's an 'earth' religion and 'white witches' are supposed to the be 'good witches'. Granted, the people I knew into Wicca weren't attempting evil in their eyes but obviously this is not from God. I remember the days I used to have to read my birthday horoscope, I'd save it in my journal. I could get rid of my own physical pain at times, had relieved a friend of mine of some pain, all with 'crystals'... not there anymore. If is isn't from God and isn't promoted by the Church it isn't that hard to figure out WHERE it's coming from EVEN if it appears good. Even Satan appeared as an angel of light.

--- ...Bless my enemies, O Lord. Even I bless them and do not curse them.
Amen
