yep.Check Genesis.

Would you please clarify? I mean, the overall account of Creation or something else?

I keep praying God's will in my life, I've been making a point of that and in retrospect I'm beginning to see how why some things happened. I mean, needed to get away from a mindset I was in.

Sorry about that, Hasahz. I have a tendency to inundate folks with too much information sometimes. My apologies. Sometimes it's best to just relax and meditate in Scripture, and let it sink in. I've been on defensive mode for so long that's usually how I treat just about any conversation on the internet.

Just keep in mind that Catholics believe Mary was saved through Christ's suffering, death, and resurrection from the moment of her existence.

I think the part about Genesis that P4P is talking about is Genesis 3:15.

"I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel."

Most modern translations render this as "...HE shall crush thy head..."

From my studies, either translation could be accurate. Whether we see Gen 3:15 as prophesying that Jesus will crush the serpent's head by His Cross or whether we see it as Mary crushing the serpent's head through her obedience to God's will in faith which brought Jesus into the world, both are God's truth.

The Serpent is destroyed by Christ's cross directly, but also in an indirect way through Mary's role as Christ's mother. In fact Scripture also tells that God crushes Satan under our feet, as Christians.

Romans 16:20 "The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. "

Just as through Mary's obedience, Jesus was brought into the world to crush Satan, so through our obedience as Christians is Satan crushed by God in this moment in history.

In my Scriptural studies this week, I plan on meditating on Luke 1:26-38 and letting the Word sink in.

By the way, I think you said before that you like to use an audio reader on your computer when the font is too small to read. Do misspellings make that more difficult? I want to communicate in the best way for you. I could be extra careful to get the spelling and grammar right so it works better for you, if that's the case.

Just let me know.

I can read, I just lose patience reading but I can't 'listen' to my text books. I suppose if I really got ambitious I could scan all the pages... hehe.. but that's like 100 per week, just discipline myself. I've been known to read the same line over and over or if I get tired more difficult keeping the eyes on one image even with prisms though depending upon how small the text I still can't read smaller things with the right eye... the damaged lining over the retina needs to be removed first. Misspelled words just will come out sounding funny but I figure it out... it's just me being lazy... the left eye tested at 20/20 but (and I don't quite understand this) has a tendency toward far-sightedness now (because it's trying to read through a cataract) so the correction for that and the updated prisms and an astigmatism correction and viola... the world isn't blurry anymore. Go figure!

I'm sure I didn't help on not feeling the need to jump to the defense, oy vey!

yes,we know God chose Mary from the beginning in Genesis. It refers to her seed and that in itself is unusual.Seed is usually associated with a male-not a woman.
So if this woman is mentioned in Genesis right after the fall-we know that God must have chosen Mary from the very beginning for the Incarnation of Jesus.

Anotherwords God chose His own mother.
I don't know why He would not permit her to be conceived without sin.Enmity with Satan would have to be total enmity.

No, it wasn't your fault at all. I fully understood you were asking an honest question.
