In your eyes, you radiated the love of Christ
In your arms, you've embraced us with Christ's love and compassion
In your hands, you nourished your flock with Christ's body and blood
In your writings, you challenged us to be faithful to the Gospel
In your prayers, you gave us the courage to live out the Gospel
In your words, you nourished your flock with the Word of God
In your silence, you taught us Divine Wisdom
In your suffering, you showed us Christ's humanity
In your life, you showed us the face of Christ
And in your death, you showed us the Glory of God!
As you pass from this life to the next, Christ will say to you at the Day of Judgment: "Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master"! (Matthew 25:21)
"John Paul II, we LOVE you!"
