For Catholic presence in WNY
had sent a letter out Oct 31st... I'm a bit slow cuz I'm still getting back. Seems our Archdiocese is contemplating closing our Church. I don't know if this is the norm in other places or just a Buffalo thing but they've been closing a lot of Churches... so IF ours is next I just might be going to the Eastern Catholic as that would be the closest, or going downtown... a very long walking distance but walkable and bus ride-able too. Prayerfully the Church just a few blocks from me will be spared. I emailed our Archbishop tonight. Is this happening all over or just here?
Anyway, prayers for this matter appreciated.
