Southern Stuffed Pork chops
> Once upon a time when Mrs. Marv and I were desprately trying to survive in Sarasota, we finally located some trunip roots. Mrs. Marv made a pone of cornbread and we dipped pot-likker for a day or so. For the grand Friday (payday) festival we bought some 3 inch thick porkchops. Recepie: Slice them chops the longway, mash up your leftover turnip roots. Crumble in cornbread (not crust), add leftover pot liquor for moisture. Season to taste. Bake until done (keep an eye on it). Serve with blackeyed peas, fresh green onion, and homemade ice cream. Or whatever. The Gardens
